#10 – Love What’s Fun

I call this “Mushroom posing as Sunflower”

On a walk recently, I came upon the fungal specimen (Agaricomycetes, so the nature identifying app Seek told me) pictured above and thanked it for bringing my attention to it. As I continued to walk, delighting in its ability to resemble something other than itself, I began seeing memories from the halcyon days of my childhood when experiencing the joys of other natural wonders….hanging in my favorite mulberry tree with a friend, collecting pecans from the grove in my grandparents front yard, being in or near any body of water.

What’s the most fun about this is that natural wonders abound still, and we can all enjoy them when we choose to. Whether/why or not we do is a whole other topic that we’ll visit later, but for today I want you to consider what is naturally most fun for you and then take part in whatever that is for at least 5 minutes or more if you can.

The time spent will most certainly be rejuvenating, if not only for your spirit but also for your whole being since doing easy things that emphasize fun in our lives is essential for joy and love.

Perhaps you’ll even find something in this activity that you’ll see looks like something else entirely – maybe *THIS* can be the activity!

Have fun ❤️
