BodyWork

Times for the services below that have a + sign following the number start with that number of minutes and can go beyond that time depending on what’s desired in 30 minute increments.

Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy is a form of alternative medicine that uses volatile plant materials, known as essential oils, and similar aromatic compounds from plants, for the purpose of improving a person’s mood, cognitive function or health.

Aromatherapy is offered as a complimentary service, you may choose oils that you would like before your appointment or discuss what kinds of scents you’re drawn to before your service begins and some can be chosen then. We stock over 50 different essential oils so we’ll most likely have what you like, but if you want to ensure that your favorite oil is available please check in before your appointment. If we don’t have something you want and have enough notice we’ll be happy to try and have it available by the time of your appointment. Or you can always bring your favorite oils with you to incorporate into your service 🙂

Client Controlled
Take your massage experience to the max by having each part of your body worked on for as long as YOU want. That’s right, like having your scalp worked on for a half hour? And your face too? What about your neck? Or other parts of you? With client controlled massage you may allow 2-4 hours for the service – price range correlates to hourly suggested rate. 120 min +

Cupping
There are two main cupping techniques: stationary and moving. Stationary cups are placed on the skin and left for a period of five to 15 minutes in one location, or cups can be applied and moved over the skin. Prior to applying the cup, oil is administered to the skin to facilitate smooth movement. A cup can sit for a short time on stubborn knots or over inflamed joints or tissue to help decrease pain. Cupping is utilized at the discretion of the therapist in conjunction with the clients desires or as a treatment in conjunction with other types of bodywork. 60 min

Integrated Intuitive Session
This service allows the therapist to work with the client based not only on the information exchanged, and modalities agreed upon during the client intake, but also after work has begun and it becomes clear to either the therapist or client that utilizing other modalities not originally considered will result in an even more effective treatment. 90 min +

LaStone Massage
Deep penetrating heated stones alternate with chilled stones to bring balance within the body’s systems. Alternately, the client may request only Hot Stone massage as well. 90 min

Manual Lymph Drainage
Manual lymph drainage (MLD) is a very gentle massage technique and is performed to stimulate the flow of lymph from an affected area of the body. MLD is based on specialized manual techniques that have been used successfully in Europe since the 1930s and is beneficial for a number of conditions in addition to aiding pre and post operative procedures. 60 min +

Massage Tutorial (Includes HypnoBirthing Infant Massage Instruction)
Ever wanted to learn how to give a great massage to a friend, family member or partner? You don’t have to spend thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours of time with a massage tutorial! This service is offered for those who’d like to learn how to give a relaxation massage and is a great way to show you care about the loved ones in your life. Bring along the person you’d like to work on or we’ll provide a willing recipient for you! Session times and quantity vary, call/email for more info/pricing.

Onsite Massage
One of the most convenient forms of massage therapy. The session time can be timed per your preference and is done while fully clothed and can also feature aromatherapy and ambient surround sound. This type of massage promotes better circulation and muscle stimulation, reduces tension in the body, provides relaxation and sets the stage for an overall increase in good health. Massage chair, reflexology chair or massage table are available for this service. Great for parties, employee wellness days, fundraisers, and any other event where there are lots of people. Pregnancy Massage
A modified version of Swedish Massage specifically designed for the pregnant client. The client is bolstered with pillows in side lying positions. This massage is available after the 1st trimester and used to reduce pregnancy discomforts and enhance the physiological and emotional well-being of both mother and fetus. In the postpartum period, massage helps to rebalance structure and physiology. 60 min +

Reflexology
Reflexology is the physical act of applying pressure to the feet, hands, face, and/or ears. Reflexology works with the body’s energy flow to stimulate self-healing and maintain balance in physical function. The client remains clothed for this treatment. 60 min

Swedish Massage
Swedish massage is the most commonly offered and best known type of massage. It uses a firm but gentle pressure to improve the circulation, ease muscle aches and tension, improve flexibility and create relaxation. Swedish massage employs five different movements: effluerage, petrissage, friction, tapotement, and vibration. Swedish massage is done with the person covered by a sheet, a technique called “draping”. Whatever part of the body that is not being worked on is draped for the duration for the session. 60 min +

Thai Yoga Massage
In this unique healing system, the practitioner guides the client through a series of yoga postures, while palming and thumbing along the body’s energy (‘Sen’) lines and pressure points. Together these actions result in a comprehensive full body treatment that relieves muscular tension, improves circulation, boosts the immune system and balances the body energetically. Thai Yoga Massage is performed on a mat on the floor; both client and practitioner are dressed in comfortable clothing allowing ease of movement and flexibility. 90 min

Day of Healing with Grace
If you’re feeling in need of more than just one of the services that TimeSpaceOne Healing Arts offers, this half (3 hour) or full day (6 hour) long combination of services may be just the thing for you! Each option includes fresh healthy snacks and beverages. Earth Wedding Ceremony
Part of healing ourselves is connected to the healing of our planet. In order to combine this process, we’ve imagined a beautiful way for individuals, couples, or groups to make their commitment known to their community and to the Earth. A truly spiritual, stewardly, and celebratory service, Earth weddings are the answer to the question “How can I be truly connected to all that serves me?” 60 min +

Ecotherapy Experience
Reconnecting to the Earth and its natural environments though a variety of offerings, from mandala work to forest bathing experiences and much more, this service will help you, your family, business, class or community organization to feel more grounded, connected and peaceful. 60 min+

Essential Oils Getaway
We’ve recently partnered with the fine folks at Young Living and are all set to take you on a journey through our planets most delightful aromas. We’ll explore dozens of scents, products for your home and office, and send you off with samples to enjoy after your experience has ended. This service is available for individuals and small groups. 60 min

Labyrinth Facilitations
Labyrinths have been used by people for thousands of years for a variety of reasons, namely for what many believe as a meditative tool. Unlike a maze, a labyrinth only has one way in and one way out so it is less likely for a person to lose their way. There are labyrinths throughout the city and this service is held off site at the labyrinth of your choosing. For individuals or groups. 60 min+

Bach Flower Essence Consultations (For people & pets)
Do flowers speak to you? In photographs, while you’re out in the world, or at a friends who has a fabulous arrangement prominently displayed somewhere in their home? You’re not alone! For years we’ve felt the positive affects of flowers around us and for some, the very real healing power of them, be it when we receive a fresh bunch during a hospital stay or on a special day when you’re being celebrated.

Join me in discovering the mysteries of flower essences as determined by Dr. Edward Bach (1886-1936) and learn how you can treat yourself for a range of physical, emotional and spiritual issues using the 38 flowers that Bach wrote “raises our vibrations and open up our channels for the reception of the spiritual self, flooding our natures with the particular virtue that we need, washing out from us the fault that is causing the harm”. Chakra Balancing
This modality works with the body’s eight energy fields that help us to function at our best. Corresponding minerals, guided meditation, mantras, Reiki, postures and sound all can be utilized during this treatment to maintain openness in the chakras. 60 min

Meditation Instruction
Learn Samatha (Calm Abiding) meditation, the most basic form of Buddhist meditation and discover how simple it is to release stress from your being and free your mind from unceasing thought. For individuals or groups. Minimum of 2 sessions required. 60 min+

Reiki
Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery. During the Reiki healing session the practitioner will place his hands lightly on different parts of your body. Some Reiki practitioners will follow a predetermined sequence of hand placements, allowing their hands to rest on each body placement for 2 to 5 minutes before moving on to the next. Empathic practitioners will freely move their hands in no particular order to the areas where they “feel” Reiki is most needed. Some Reiki practitioners do not actually touch their clients. Instead, they will hover their lifted palms a few inches above the reclined body. Either way, Reiki energies flow where they are suppose to. Reiki is a smart energy that automatically flows where the imbalances are in your body regardless of where the practitioner’s hands are placed. 60 min

The reading of cards is an ages old divination tool that has become more widespread throughout the world for individuals that desire clarification for what they already sense about certain areas of their life that need assistance. 60 min+

FamilyWork

Labor & Delivery Support (Doula)
Having a baby is one of life’s biggest adventures so having the right support people with you on your labor and delivery journey is crucial for the outcome you desire. We will meet several times before your delivery to ensure a positive connection, outline how you hope to be successful during and after your childbirth experience, and provide answers and information to any questions or requests you may have. Kids Massage
A gentle form of Swedish massage for the younger ones, a more traditional form for the older ones. Kids of all ages need work just as much as their older counterparts and massage is a wonderful way to help them learn how to listen to their bodies so they can ask for relief when they’re struggling. Now more than ever, our children are in various kinds of pain and can greatly benefit from the healing touch that massage offers when they’re not getting that from their parents. 60 min

These rates are a suggestion, if you are unable to pay this rate, then you may pay what you can. Nobody will ever be turned away from body/energy/earth work because of their ability to pay.

Because regular body/energy work is so vital to our well being, the following package pricing allows you to enjoy the benefits not only of consistent appointments to maintain your overall health, but increased savings as well!

$250 for 3 sessions at 60 minutes

$485 for 6 sessions at 60 minutes

$365 for 3 sessions at 90 minutes

FAQ

This is my first service, is there anything I need to know or do?

*Know that due to the Covid-19 updated protocols that are now in place for health and safety, you must bring your own mask with you to your appointment which you will be required to wear throughout your session (adjustments for type of service will be considered/reviewed during appointment making process). Your temperature will be taken and you will be required to sanitize your hands (with provided sanitizer) upon arrival and before entering the treatment space. If you do not bring a mask you will be required to reschedule your appointment. An additional set of intake questions will be given relating specifically to Covid-19 protocols that need to be completed even if this is not your first visit. Payment for services is strongly recommended to be contactless, but those without the ability to pay in this manner can still pay with cash or check. All recommended FSMTB (Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards) guidelines for operating are in effect to do our best to ensure your safety during your appointment.

Know that if you appear intoxicated or under the influence of any illegal substance you will have to reschedule the appointment and will fall under the payment responsibility policy for rescheduling within 24 hours notice.

Know that at any time if any inappropriate comments/gestures are made that I will stop the service and you will be asked to leave and you will be charged for the service you have scheduled. Services are strictly therapeutic.

Know that aromatherapy is complimentary for your service if you choose and a list of oils is available upon request.

Do inform me prior to your appointment if you have any allergies to any oils, incense, etc. so that the environment can be addressed.

Do print and complete the Client Intake Form and bring with you to your appointment.

If you are open to having breast massage (they’re part of your body too!) as part of your service please be sure to also print and complete the Breast Massage Intake Form as well that’s included with the link.

You may also email it if you are planning to have aromatherapy for your session since prior notice is needed because essential oils are not kept onsite.

I bought/received a product/gift certificate etc. and want to return it for a refund, is that possible?
Of course, if you are the purchaser a refund is optional. If you received the product/gift certificate then a credit for services/products equal in value will be issued. Unfortunately, in the case of actual products, only credit can be issued regardless of who’s returning it.

What types of payment are accepted?
Cash, credit, check & most forms of other electronic payment (PayPal, Venmo, etc.)

Do you accept insurance?
At the present time insurance claims for body/energy work need to be filed by the client to determine whether your carrier will reimburse your costs.

Is parking available?
On street parking is available

Do you offer outcall appointments?
Outcall appointments are scheduled on a case by case basis and do cost more than if you are seen in my office. Contact me with your specific needs.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?
There is a 24 hour notice for canceling or rescheduling appointments. As a new client, when you schedule your appointment a credit or debit card number is taken to hold your appointment, if you do not cancel or reschedule your appointment within 24 hours prior to the time of your appointment your card will be charged for whatever service you have scheduled. *Note, due to Covid-19 any appointments that are cancelled because of symptoms related to possible exposure with the virus ONLY, no charge will be made for cancelling.

For existing clients: if you do not reschedule or cancel your appointment with 24 hour notice and do not appear for your appointment (except for true emergencies) you will need to resolve the balance owed before scheduling another appointment, except for issues relating to Covid-19 (see note above).
