I created a vision board the other day since it’s a new year, though anytime is a good time for a vision board. It had been a few years since I had created one and I felt the calling to make a new one since they really are fun to do.
If you’ve never made one, the idea is that a poster board is the canvas and images/words from various magazines/books/periodicals are cut and pasted to make a collage that represents any wishes or goals, inspiring or endearing to you sentiments for a visual cue to help assist your focus for a period of time.
It’s fitting that I affixed my vision board on the wall next to my puzzle table as the two represent different parts of me that I’m intrigued with working out in some fashion: one comes together in the end as a complete image, the other is an array of images all pieced together to create something entirely new while also being quite familiar.
Today I will invite you to consider creating a vision board for yourself. If a puzzle seems more fitting or doable then explore that. Make it fun.
