I spotted these words painted on a house in Philadelphia when I was visiting there recently and have shared them with many friends, family and clients since. Today I’m sharing them with you for a few reasons.
Certainly, the message couldn’t be truer for many, this much is clear and in some future entries I’ll revisit some of these other points. Something that occurred to me with this in relation to fun is that while unlearning and dismantling will likely be hard (and maybe not what most would describe as “fun”), the reimagining and rebuilding most likely will be. But we can do the imagining part right now.
What do you see in the near future (or today, more specifically) that would be fun for you and your loved ones? Is it something you and they can build together, either literally or figuratively? Have you been dreaming of some wildly enjoyable endeavors that it’s time to start making manifest?
If so, then I encourage you to contemplate further these things now and write whatever inspiration comes for this part of your life that you’ve been unable to get to….until now.
Life is short, have fun today, in whatever way you can.
