#9 – Love Everything

Some of you may have heard of this 2022 film that tells the story of a laundromat owner that’s being audited and finds herself experiencing an unexpected trip through the multiverse in the process. I heard about this film when it came out, have talked to some friends who have seen it, know it’s won a number of awards and have even listened to a podcast recently with the co-star of the film, Jonathan Ke Quan – alas, I have not seen it.

To be honest, it’s not that the story doesn’t sound interesting, entertaining and like a fine enough way to spend 2 + hours of my time, it’s more that the idea of watching an already beleaguered business owner bouncing around in different universes makes my quite full already mind prickly with weariness.

Which brings me to loving everything.

It’s a lot, I know, and some of you may think or feel that it’s not only impossible but also really just not something you can understand the benefit of doing.

I hear you.

But really, what loving everything is about is loving what is, right now. So look about you, take in everything you can see, hear, smell, touch and taste (if you’re munching on something while reading this) and love it.

Write or speak out loud your love for what is in your life at this very moment if it’s not right in front of you – this could be for your friends, family, community, work, home, health, creativity and on and on.

Everything is a part of us and we are part of everything – celebrate it, whether you’re literally (which would be pretty awesome and I want to know how you’re doing it!) or figuratively (which is more likely) bouncing around the multiverse or not.
